We are looking for a Senior Reliability Engineer to join our team. You will work as a reliability subject matter expert leading the team towards meeting stack reliability goals, test planning, and FMEA facilitation to inform design for reliability decisions and to develop validation plans. You will create fault trees and reliability block diagrams to assess product reliability. You will also work with a diverse and passionate cross-functional engineering team to provide recommendations on reliability tests and design decisions.

You will work onsite at our Natick, MA office and report to the Manager of Reliability Engineering.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Define and develop accelerated stress testing (AST), novel reliability tests to understand key technology failure modes, tying these to specifications
  • Develop degradation models to understand the impact of failure modes to product lifetime
  • Work with other engineers throughout the company to develop design guidelines as well as other reliability and quality tools
  • Support test data analysis to resolve issues detected in testing, streamline data analysis
  • Work closely with failure analysis to understand root cause and inform design/component decisions

Qualifications

  • BS required (Chem Engineering, Materials Engineering, Chemistry or other science and engineering discipline), M.S. or PhD, a plus
  • Minimum 5+ years experience in reliability testing, test development, NPI, Design and reliability validation
  • Experience in developing and performing stress tests
  • Statistical experience such as JMP or familiarity with accelerated stress models
  • Application of Design of Experiments and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis

$121,000$133,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
