The Powertrain Operations Team is responsible for supporting advanced engineering development activities throughout the Powertrain organization, including prototype build and test of hardware for Lucid Motors’ next generation HV Battery, Drive Unit and Power Electronics programs at our headquarters in Newark, CA.
We are currently seeking a Purchasing Specialist to own the purchase requisition process and all procurement related activities for the Powertrain organization internal teams.

The Role:
Process incoming purchase requisitions submitted by members of the Powertrain internal teamsDrive RFQ activities and establish supplier relationships, as necessaryReview and clarify quotations with suppliers and internal requestorsGenerate internal purchase requests using internal systems (Jira, SAP)Make necessary logistics arrangements for ongoing orders, as requiredFollow-up and order status tracking with internal teams/vendors after purchase order releaseSecure deliveries in line with requisition requirements and proactively address and communicate any delivery timing deviationsCoordinate any required order adjustments, in collaboration with requestors and other internal teamsManage tracking, receipt and distribution of all incoming deliveries for your outstanding ordersTrack and communicate cross-functionally status and progress for your open requisitionsManage and update internal tracking sheets and generate activity reports, as necessaryCollaborate with the Accounts Payable teams to ensure timely and accurate invoice payment processing or to clarify invoice inconsistencies for your completed requisitionsCoordinate new vendor creation requests in collaboration with requestors and other internal teamsCommunicate efficiently and effectively across all levels within Lucid to provide administrative support, as neededAnalyze and review internal processes and propose process improvements, as necessary, to eliminate redundancies, optimize process flow and increase efficiency
