We are looking for a (Sr.) Payroll Specialist Europe to assist with EU payroll for Lucid Motors. This entails accurate and efficient payroll operations, working with HR, Accounting, external partners, and driving exceptional employee experience. Candidate will be part of our payroll team and is expected to assist with our payroll system implementation, regular payroll processes as well as special payroll projects for a growing organization and strive for perfection within a fast-paced environment.

The Role:
Assist with regular payroll process and ensue high degree of accuracyEnsure proper documentation of processes and work performedAnticipate, assess, and manage issues and risksQuickly resolve issues when they arise; address the root cause and recommend mitigation plansEnsure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and policiesEnsure data accuracy and process integrityCollaborate closely with other teams on cross-functional payroll mattersWork closely with selected vendor and its in-country partners for successful payroll system implementationAssist with launch of payroll in various European countriesAssist with special payroll projectsBachelor’s degree in accounting, or another relevant field, or equivalent experience3-7 years of experience in payroll operations in EuropeKnowledge of legislative and compliance requirements in relation to taxation and other statutory obligations in multiple European countries is a plus (main countries are the Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, France and Belgium)Experience with multi country payroll portals/providers is a plusExperience with payroll system implementation is preferredExperience with HRIS (payroll, operations, benefits, immigration, etc.) preferredDemonstrated ability to support operationsExcellent written and oral communication in English. German and French is a plusAbility to multi-task with attention to detail
