Lucid Motors is searching for a Network Engineer for its Casa Grande area facilities who can oversee the implementation of equipment, maintain each component of the network and troubleshoot issues. The network engineer will be responsible for monitoring the network firewall, assessing the functionality of the network routers, ensuring all internet security software is updated regularly and maintaining the company phone and video conferencing systems.

The Role
Support the development of industrial network standards.Work with the team on establishing network design principles, practices, implementations, documentation and maintenance procedures.Support the execution, deployment and integration of industrial networks in the plant to include all network-related hardware and software.Ensure system up time and backup for network-related equipment.Work closely with engineering to help report issues, lead project deliverable's and provide status and progress reports.Report status of projects during regular team meetingsSustain the necessary data throughput rate by monitoring networking activity and maintaining existing equipmentDiagnose and investigate unique and complex systemic problems.Quickly respond and resolve incidents and requests.Troubleshoot and resolve network issuesTroubleshoot Hardware, Operating Systems and Software issues.Initiates and completes technical activities related to product or process improvement. Prepares reports, publishes, and makes presentations to communicate findings.Maintain the company phone and video conferencing systems and work closely with the service provider to keep the lines activeRespond to network connectivity issues and resolve any wireless communication issues within the confines of the officeCollaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure that the network stays operationalQualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field or relevant experience.Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) certificate requiredA minimum of 5+ years of experience in network architecture deployment and troubleshooting.Experience with the use of Network System Diagnostic programs and equipment similar to WireXpert, Cisco IoS, Net Scout, WireShark, Spectrum Analyzer, Network loggers.Experience with analyzing data reports generated from diagnostic programs and equipmentManufacturing Engineering and Information Technology experience with an emphasis on Network Communication Standards (802.11, EtherNet/IP, Profinet I/O, TCP/IP, QOS - Quality of Service)Familiar with TCP/IP, SNMP, switching and routing protocols.Familiar with Network Security protocols.Understanding of PLC communication and its effect on Ethernet networks.Strong analytical skills for interpreting business requirements and translating them into technical specifications.Problem solving skills specific to Information Technology, network management and system designs.Project management experience.Manufacturing automotive experience. Good communications skills, both oral and written required.Responsible for Monitoring projects, timing and goals, and providing direction of resources.
