The Sr. Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing inventory levels to meet production demands at internal and external manufacturing sites, optimizing inventory forecasts, placing replenishment purchase orders with vendors, and maintaining accurate lot tracing/month close in our ERP. The Sr. Inventory Analyst will also have the opportunity to be part of early-stage biotechnology that will positively impact people around the globe.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage raw material inventory at internal and external food manufacturing sites, adhering to Weeks of Supply and in-stock rate targets
  • Place replenishment orders for internal and external manufacturing sites, ensuring no production disruptions as a top priority, while minimizing excess inventory
  • Analyze historical data and recent trends to identify and mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities
  • Manage day-to-day execution and ensure a seamless flow of purchase order to receipt
  • Make sure all activities are reflected in ERP to ensure lot-traceability and accurate accounting activities
  • Manage and create excel models to use as Materials Resource Planning tools
  • Develop KPIs and track against them to ensure adherence to Supply Chain targets based on company priorities
  • Manage relationships with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure flawless execution of production plans
  • Education and Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field, 3+ years of relevant experience, which could include Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or Finance
  • Experience within a food manufacturing environment, CPG, or environment with short shelf life preferred
  • Experience placing purchase orders is preferred
  • Experience using an ERP (NetSuite) preferred
  • Experience with broad supply-chain management and process development preferred
