About This Role:

The Crusoe team is looking for a passionate and experienced Sr. Indirect Tax Manager to develop and implement strategies for identifying, quantifying, and securing various tax credits and incentives, such as those for data center sales tax exemptions and property tax abatement agreements. This role is a full-time position responsible for managing and reviewing the preparation and filing of various indirect tax returns and tax incentives, as well as acting as the primary point of contact for tax authorities during audits.

What You’ll Be Working On:

Tax Incentive Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement strategies to identify, quantify, and secure various tax credits and incentives, such as data center sales tax exemptions and property tax abatement agreements.

Compliance and Reporting: Manage and review the preparation and filing of various indirect tax returns and tax incentives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal departments and external partners to gather necessary information and support for indirect taxes and tax incentives.

Audit Support: Act as the primary point of contact for tax authorities during audits related to indirect taxes and tax incentives, providing audit documentation packages and explanations as needed.

Process Development and Improvement: Develop and improve internal processes for identifying, tracking, and claiming tax credits to ensure efficiency and accuracy.

Tax Research: Research and monitor current tax landscape changes in operating jurisdiction.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and a minimum of 7 years of indirect tax experience. A Master's degree or J.D. is preferred.

Previous Experience: Previous supervisory or project management experience.

Compensation:

Compensation will be paid in the range of $130,000 - $160,000/year + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
