The Role:

  • Designs and develops security solutions, technical and reference architectures and supporting security strategies tailored to Lucid's business needs in relation to infrastructure and cloud security
  • Investigates and analyzes existing cloud structures and creates new and enhanced security methods that will improve the security posture of Lucid's cloud-based environments
  • Performs and ensures cloud security assessments are being performed on a reoccurring basis to identify key security gaps and prioritize remediation activities
  • Conducts improvements and enhancements on the infrastructure and cloud architecture framework
  • Supports the review of independent third-party reports (i.e., SOC 2 Type 2) to determine control compliance of the cloud service provider
  • Work with relevant teams to drive regulatory compliance of cloud solution implementation
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in information security or cloud security, architecture, infrastructure security
  • Deep understanding of Cloud Security Architectures as they relate to AWS, Azure, and other cloud platforms. Familiar with security solutions and risks associated with SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS cloud deployment models
  • Knowledge of cloud security architecture, cloud logging, monitoring, and analytics
  • Understanding of container security
  • Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of security technologies and processes (secure software development (Application Security), data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management (IAM)
  • Automobile and/or manufacturing industry experience is a plus
  • Education:

  • B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent major
  • Post Graduate degree is a plus
