We are currently seeking a Sr. Drive Unit Systems Engineer. This position requires a multidisciplinary background and is familiar with the physics and engineering concepts of all aspects of drive unit design (structures, rotating components, electrical, thermal, controls, HV architecture), and they will be the primary interface with the technical experts of the subsystems. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate exceptional critical thinking, first-principles problem solving approach, excellent communication, and ability to learn deeply and rapidly.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions ,including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California (Bay Area) - $115,000-$165,000/yr

Central point of contact for technical stakeholders for a Drive Unit product and/or featureWork with design teams, simulation/modelling, program management, manufacturing, etc.. to define and maintain -Drive Unit technical specification
- Drive Unit system level requirements
Contribute to cascading of requirements from Drive Unit to subsystems.Develop Drive Unit DFMEA and DVP with relevant stakeholders.Drive critical technical decisions with a large team of SMEs.Qualifications:
