The Benefits HRIS Specialist is responsible for the implementation, integration and maintenance of Lucid benefit systems. Ongoing tasks and responsibilities include benefits administration platform maintenance, EDI troubleshooting, data transmittal and analysis, systems and data QA.
Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
· California (Bay Area) - $108,000-$154,000
Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs. You Will:
Owns testing, and implementation of integrations; collaborates with functional and technical staff (Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, IT) to coordinate applicationsProvides ongoing tactical support, maintenance and resolution for issues that are reported for the benefits system and payroll for benefits, insurance carrier and third-party service provider database connections including but not limited to UAT in test and production environments, and UI/UX efficienciesManages and escalates project risks and issues and develops proactive mitigation strategiesParticipates in cross-functional team meetings where new Payroll, HCM and other systems impact benefits data collection and processesPartners with internal/external technical analysts to review technical specifications, and validates EDI, EDT and API requirements for successful data transferEnsures quality assurance and data integrity by performing data file and path inspection activities, performs detection and resolution of problems, and the delivery of desired data processing outcomesProvides production support, including researching and resolving Benefit and associated Payroll issues and process flawsGenerates reports, queries, and analyses to support HR and the businessSeeks ways to create more efficient processesProactively prototypes/models optimal functionality in the benefit system; leverage unused functionality to automate, streamline, meet business needs, and address areas for improvementRecognizes, uncovers and manages the interdependencies between Benefits and Payroll data points and processes; streamlines data processingPerforms other duties as assignedYou Bring:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Human Resources, Business Administration or other closely related field or equivalent experience10 years of related work experience in a large employer (5,000 + employees) organizationHCM and Payroll experience required (hands-on Benefitfocus/Benefitplace and Dayforce/Ceridian platforms preferred)Experience implementing and integrating HRIS/Payroll/Benefits systems/procedures required; experience with Ceridian, SAP/SuccessFactors a plusExperience reporting and analyzing HR data requiredExperience optimizing and automating HR/Benefit processes for better efficiency and employee experienceStrong experience with Microsoft Excel, data analysis and validation required (e.g., pivot tables, vlookups, conditional formulas, data tables, etc.)Skills and Competencies
