We are dedicated to cultivating an equitable and inclusive environment that embraces our differences, and supports and celebrates all of our team members.</span></p></div><p><strong>What you’ll do:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Define OEM-level requirements for the Alerting, Checklist and System Management Subsystem (CAS, Aurals, Checklist, Synoptics, Utility Systems Soft Controls)</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Perform system modeling of Alerting, Checklist and System Management functionality</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Coordinate effort to capture Utility Systems (non-Avionics) Crew Alerting and Aural logic</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Work with Pilots, Human Factors and Utility Systems engineers to capture requirements and design for checklists, synoptics and controls</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Subject Matter Expert and contributor for Alerting, Checklist and System Management related verification procedures, safety analysis, test execution and certification documentation</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Assist other Avionics Subsystems with a wide range of tasks including: requirements development, system modeling, safety analysis, verification procedure creation, test execution and preparing certification documentation&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Mentor junior engineers</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Manage and develop supplier relationships</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Based in Archer HQ. Travel: 10% or less</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>What you need:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">7+ years of experience in Avionics development and integration</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">4+ years of direct Systems or Software Engineering experience with CAS or Synoptic development</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Outstanding communication and leadership skills</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Good teammate, willing to proactively step in and help</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with: 14 CFR Part 23, 25, 27 or 29 Certification for Part 135 Operation</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with ARP-4754 process</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with Requirements Management Tools such as DOORs, Jama or Polarion</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Bonus Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with Agile development methods</span></li> <li style="font-weight: 400;"><span style="font-weight: 400;">Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering</span></li> </ul><div class="content-conclusion"><h5><span style="font-weight: 400;">Archer is proud to be an Equal Opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.
