We're looking for a Sr Atlassian Administrator to join our Information Technology team. In this role, you'll take the lead in creating and executing a strategic roadmap for implementing our program management platforms. You'll drive, design, and build out the required flows and integrations between Jira, Confluence, and other Atlassian and SAAS applications.
As a Sr Atlassian Administrator, you'll partner with IT and business teams to establish best practices, improve current and future project workflows, and manage integrations and reporting. The Role:
Create, manage, and support all administrative functions associated with Atlassian (Jira, Confluence, 3rd party add-ons, integrations, etc.)Drive the strategic roadmap and architecture for better tool utilization through documentation, training, coaching, and optimization, enabling stakeholders to work with even greater productivityUse your deep knowledge of the Jira platform and experience to build the Jira hierarchy and workflows to implement and maintain consistent structure, taxonomy, usage, and SOX compliance.Establish and maintain system optimization for shared filters and dashboards, group subscriptions, global permissions, email notifications, and resolving workflow issuesProactively plan and implement upgrades for the project management platforms.Create Jira-based reports, dashboards, and planning views based on different user requirements and provide stakeholders with actionable metrics and status reportsTroubleshoot user and system-level issues and deliver scalable and timely solutions, as well as develop and maintain documentation and end-user training materialsCommunicate, written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teamsManage Atlassian license portfolio, perform usage audits, provide proactive reporting to assist with annual licensing renewals, and maintain strong vendor relationships.Driving your own projects, from design through planning to execution. Also work with teams across Lucid on cross-team initiatives.Analyzing and improving availability, efficiency, capacity, scalability, security and performance of our services.Representing Systems Operations while working with internal teams and external partners.Troubleshooting and resolving problems with production systems as part of our on-call rotation.Developing and maintaining operations tools.Be a change agent to drive transformation of how we manage work.Drive innovation on how work is performed using JiraProvide formal and informal training to Jira users, and less experienced Jira AdminsGather requirements for business processes, and determine ways to optimize/improve Jira Setup and workflows, as well as identify where functionality can/cannot meet user requests.Install, manage and administer Jira add-ons, plugins, and extensionsProviding assistance in the management and support of integrations between tools in development landscape, including : Jira, Confluence, Access, ServiceNow, Okta, etc.Qualifications:
BA/BS degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology or Computer Sciences5+ years of experience with deep hands-on expertise with the Jira product suite (Atlassian, Confluence, and others), supporting 3rd party add-ons (Portfolio, Structure, etc.) and integrationsKnowledge of the Jira product suite at admin and super-user level (Jira Certified a plus)Proven technical expertise in integrating Jira applications with enterprise platforms like OKTA, etc., through a mix of API and integration toolsConceptual and practical understanding of SDLC and Agile FrameworksKnowledge of Scrum and continuous integration and continuous deployment practicesExperience with writing scripts and managing reports on Jira and supported reporting applicationsExperience with providing user management, access roles and permissions, global and project-level configuration and maintenance, training, and end-user support for JIRAExperience designing, configuring, maintaining, and evolving customized project space setups to include issue type scheme design, screen scheme design, new field design, and workflow design and configuration.Able to work independently with minimal guidance in a rapidly changing environmentStrong executive presence, facilitation skills, drive for results, attention to quality and detail, and a collaborative attitudeFunctional scripting/programming experience with Perl/Python/Ruby, Bash.Excellent customer service, communication, documentation, work prioritization and analytical skills.Expert in Jira Automation and script runner groovy script setups Ability and willingness to go above and beyond ones comfort zone when it comes to learning about other infrastructure services to help integrate and improve them.
