Our rapidly growing Member Operations Team of mission-driven, climate enthusiasts is passionate, innovative and committed to a better future for the planet. We are looking for a Senior Associate Product Manager (Pricing) to help us  build best-in-class automation and tooling as the company continues to scale into additional markets and products over the coming years. 
This role will be part of Inspire’s Pricing Services product team which provides the foundational technology that allows us to pursue our mission by ensuring that everyone who wants clean energy for their home can get it seamlessly. Leveraging data that enables us to price personalized offers for our customers, this team ensures that we are able to continuously optimize and scale our core business offerings and processes. 
The Associate Product Manager (Pricing) will assist the product team in discovering and scoping new features and improvements for our internal products. They’ll be responsible for gathering, synthesizing, and documenting requirements in coordination with internal stakeholders while also executing on product delivery with design, engineering, and analytics partners.
How you’ll help: 
  • Assist with the prioritization and execution of the pricing product roadmap
  • Partner closely with our Analytics team to stay up close to the performance of our pricing services and identify gaps in our data observability 
  • Own features end-to-end, including leading product discovery, writing product specs, driving cross-functional execution, making thoughtful product decisions along the way, and sharing insights and outcomes throughout the company
  • Create and maintain documentation covering our pricing technology and processes
Some 1 year deliverables:
  • Develop and deliver the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area of ownership in partnership with the Director of Product.
  • Identify and deliver features and enhancements that minimize manual effort and errors while delighting customers and creating value for Inspire.
  • Create and improve tools that our internal business users can leverage to deliver on margin and gross profit plan expectations.
  • Create and maintain a documentation library of pricing-related technology and services for use in training internal business users on our tools.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:
  • Must Have
    • 3-4 years of experience required, with at least  2 years in a product management, project management, or systems operation role, driving improvements working with agile software development teams
    • Experience conducting qualitative and quantitative analysis using common research methodologies and leveraging tools like Tableau, Mode, and Mixpanel to inform prioritization and decision-making
    • Ability to write clear specifications for features that define a clear, meaningful, and achievable goal. Your specs describe functionality in sufficient detail for stakeholders to understand the value created and for engineers to build the feature
    • Demonstrated track record of product discovery, identifying teams and other stakeholders directly impacted by your project, gathering their feedback, and working with them to identify constraints and requirements
    • Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to hard problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, written narrative and documentation
  • Nice to Have
    • Experience in the retail energy industry
    • Experience managing and shipping B2B products and features
    • Experience managing and shipping internal tools
    • Experience with UX design and creating mockups and prototypes of various fidelity
    • Experience in a Business Analyst role or similar
    • Experience working in a high-growth scaling product management organization
