Sr. Analyst of Business Model - Temporary

ICON is looking for a Sr. Analyst of Business Model (RaaS) - temporary to help analyze and define the company's Robotics as a Service business model. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing ICON’s market positioning and expansion opportunities. You will be asked to develop financial models to help quantify ICON’s growth opportunities from innovation, serviceable area expansion, and partnership/acquisition perspectives. This is a unique opportunity to define and quantify growth opportunities for the first large-scale 3D-printing construction projects in history. Full-time employment is a possibility at the conclusion of the temporary employment period. This role is based at ICON’s Austin, TX Campus and will report to the Sr. Manager of Business Model and Operations Strategy. The length of the position will be 3-6 months. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead business modeling efforts to help the company define growth opportunities beyond our current technology, RaaS business model, and serviceable areas.
• Develop criteria to evaluate key market segments, serviceable areas, and vertical/horizontal integration opportunities.
• Develop business cases for innovative construction technologies, service delivery strategies, and software platforms.
• Coordinate with leadership to ensure cross-disciplinary understanding and engagement in business model considerations.
• Work with Sr. Manager of Business Model and Operations Strategy to define a path towards a profitable Robotics as a Service (RaaS) business.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of consulting experience or an MBA degree.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Excellent communication skills and meeting facilitation.
• Management consultant-level financial modeling required.
• Comfortable presenting to and engaging with VP level executives.
• Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and translate complex business and technical information.
