Inspire is seeking a Senior Account Operations Analyst to join our team overseeing the system integrations between Inspire, our partners, vendors and utilities. These relationships intertwine to create a meaningful and positive experience for our Members, delivering them clean energy and fulfilling our products, while creating value for our business. This role will focus on managing workflows to drive growth while enabling scale and cost reductions.

How you’ll help: 

  • Effectively communicate with peers, external contacts and department leaders
  • Work with Electronic Data Exchange (EDI) vendor, utilities and internal teams to investigate and resolve transaction exceptions that impact customers and internal processes
  • Reconciliation of account attributes to mitigate any customer or financial risk
  • Support market entry requirements gathering and product verification testing
  • Work with Manager to execute on prioritized initiatives to ensure deadlines are met with the expected level of quality
  • Ability to identify and implement process improvements needed to achieve operational excellence and impact KPI’s
  • Support and respond to external and internal requests within established SLA’s
  • Cross-train Account Operations team on new processes

Some Year 1 Deliverables:

  • Maintain KPI’s for accurate billing and timely enrollment processing
  • Own new market entry product verification testing and identify issues and points of failure
  • Create and maintain process documentation and updated workflows
  • Apply best practices to new workflows as our products evolve
  • Assume responsibility for day-to-day transaction exception handling and coordination with utilities to resolve customer issues within established SLA

Here’s what you’ll bring to the table:

  • Must Have
    • 3-4 years experience in back-office processes including enrollments, billing, EDI transaction management and exception handling
    • Experience coordinating with deregulated gas and electric utilities
    • Experience testing workflows and documenting processes
    • Advanced Excel skills including experience creating pivot tables, formulas and other data validations
    • Must be detail-oriented, analytical and able to learn new systems and processes quickly
    • Excellent written and verbal skill
  • Nice to Have
    • Knowledge of third party billing systems, specifically P2C 
    • Familiar with SQL query language
    • Experience with ERCOT operational processes related to enrollment, billing, payments and MarkeTrak
    • Eager to grow, learn and take on new work as neede
