Zoox is transforming mobility-as-a-service by developing a fully autonomous, purpose-built fleet designed for AI to drive and humans to enjoy.
The Robot Software Infrastructure team is responsible for the software environment on Zoox’s autonomous vehicle fleet and test fixtures. We operate at a unique intersection of software engineering, systems engineering, and product security. Our engineers work in diverse areas, including:
- Maturing the operating system on our vehicle’s primary compute platform
- Designing systems that update software and firmware on vehicles and test fixtures during development, manufacturing, and in the field
- Creating vehicle software build and configuration systems
- Developing security-focused software in close collaboration with the product security team
The RSI roadmap includes a number of significant projects suitable for a strong intern looking for professional experience. Candidates will be matched to a project that best fits their skill set, interests and the team’s needs.
Compensation
The monthly salary range for this position is $6,500 to $9,500. Compensation will vary based on role, degree level and type, and benefits will be offered based on eligibility. Additional benefits may include medical insurance, 401k, and a housing stipend.
