About this Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer to join Apeel’s growing Platform Engineering team. In this role, you’ll help design, develop, test, deploy, monitor and maintain Apeel's software solutions.
This position will report to Technical Manager and will be based in Santa Barbara, CA, US. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.
What You’ll Do
- Design software to support Apeel’s core software experiences
- Develop software to support Apeel’s core software experiences
- Build a long-term technology stack that is modular and extensible
- Participate in a professional, industry standard software development lifecycle using Agile SCRUM methodologies
- AWS infrastructure management
- Work with Python, SQL, React, HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, and Docker
What You Bring
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering or equivalent industry experience
- Experience with Python, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, Typescript, Docker
- Ability to design software solutions (Entity Relationship Diagram, Object Model, State Machine Diagram, Sequence Diagram)
- 3+ years industry experience (full-time employee)
Minimum Qualifications
- BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering
- Experience with Python
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years industry experienced (not required)
