Location: Remote 

Pivot Bio is seeking a talented content creator to develop compelling and dynamic content across multiple mediums. In a world of content and information overload, we are looking for someone with a proven track record of breaking through the clutter to engage key publics to advance understanding, create relationships, and grow followers.  

The social media content creator will primarily focus on developing content for our social media channels. This role may also be asked to flex their writing chops and create content for Pivot Bio’s blogs, website, and intranet. Must be able to simultaneously manage, coordinate, and execute several complex projects within tight timelines. 

Responsibilities 

• Create engaging content that uses written, video, and/or photography to tell a strong story consistent with our value proposition and brand purpose.  
• Distribute on publishing platforms (Sprout, Meltwater, HubSpot) 
• Generate ideas/themes of industry-relevant and audience focused topics to inform content strategy  
• Collaborate with product marketing and technical experts 
• Convey a consistent brand voice 
• Deliver content for targeted campaigns, news/ press releases, social media, and various events 
• Proofread for correct grammar and accuracy 

Qualifications & Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree with minimum 3 years or equivalent professional experience in Corporate Communications, Employee Communications, Media Relations, Public Relations, Marketing, or similar field 
• Ability to build credibility and trust through high ethical standards. Extreme discretion, as work may involve confidential and sensitive information. 
• Effective project manager, able to balance multiple priorities and tasks within tight timeframes 
• Strong communicator, presenter, and writer including demonstrated work experience as a content creator in social media and digital platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, and LinkedIn 
• Solid copywriting, editing, and proofreading skills  
• Photo and video editing experience 
• Content SEO experience 
• Experience in the agriculture and/or synthetic biology industry preferred 
• Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
