This position performs the functions of shipping and receiving, material handling, inventory management and record-keeping for incoming and outgoing shipments of company products and vendor parts necessary to manufacturing of products; stores and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products within the warehouse, ensures accuracy and timeliness of all job functions; verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties to quality and productivity standards.

You Will:
Determines method of shipment and prepares bills, invoices and other shipping documents.Receive material - check and signs delivery slips, and assists with unloading as necessary. Inspect and verifies incoming goods against invoices or other documents, records shortages and rejects damaged goods. Accept or returns material according to established company procedures. Prints and affixes proper labels. Organize distribution and shipping of merchandise. Make necessary verifications against documents. May operate forklift, hand truck or other equipment to load, unload, transport and store goods.Maintain internal record-keeping systems.Contact transport companies and suppliers in order to expedite, trace or return material that does not conform to specifications or purchase orders. Assembles containers and crates, packs goods to be shipped and prepares identifying information and shipping instructions.Take inventory, maintain storage area, organize and place stock on shelves. Ensure area is secure at all times. Keeping up date inventories and invoices in the system. Assist Supervisor as needed. Locate material according to layout. Communicates pertinent information per shift.Examine shipment contents and compare with invoices to verify accuracy. Record discrepancies in order to make a failure warning if it is necessary. Shipping schedules follow up/attainment Generates and provides proper paperwork for transportation.You Bring:
High School Diploma/GED 2-3 years related experience in shipping activities in a manufacturing or similar fast-paced environmentSupervisory experience would be an asset Strong organizational skills Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)Proficiency with database applications and administration systems, specifically Microsoft Office Must be a highly motivated, service and team-oriented individual with an attention to detailStrong analytical ability
