Fluence is seeking a regional Service Sales Entrepreneur / Promoter to drive top-line revenue growth across Fluence Services. You will be the primary person responsible for both identifying new opportunities to sell Fluence service products beyond the current Fluence portfolio and helping our regional deal teams in contracting service sales contracts.

A strong technical knowledge of the local energy services market and of battery-based energy storage systems is desirable, but an agile mindset with comfort of working and learning in a fast-paced technology scale-up environment is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Understand Fluence regional growth strategy and execute according to that strategy.
  • Deliver on annual aligned service sales targets in the target region.
  • Hunt for new business opportunities to fuel the Service sales pipeline.
  • Engage with key customers to identify new service opportunities.
  • Negotiate commercial and technical aspects of customer contract(s) with Regional Sales, Commercial Project Management, Sales Engineering, Legal and Regional Service Leads.
  • Work with Services Product Management and Growth teams to develop and implement new product offerings to create access to specific customer markets.
  • Lead the development of new service sales tools and support materials
  • Establish sales reports as required in line with procedures and business plan.
  • Own data quality for all service sales items in SalesForce
  • Present to customers/partners & at events to communicate Service’s value propositions.
  • Develop network and market knowledge of relevant electricity grids/market
  • Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in Sales roles with a focus on the energy sector, preferably energy storage, clean tech, or renewables
  • Demonstrates Fluence’s Leadership Style

  • Strong interpersonal skills; able to build and manage strong relationships with team, cross-functional colleagues, and external partners
  • Possess an entrepreneurial drive for getting things done and a “whatever it takes” attitude. Exhibit a forward leaning posture, high ownership, and diligent pursuit of new opportunities.
  • Ability to work dynamically and cross functionally within teams spanning both the regional organization and the Service team in a fast-moving technical business environment.

  • Strong communicator and relationship builder who give / earn trust and respect of the client team and internal project, engineering, commissioning and business administrators as well as external partners and contributors
  • Bachelors or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
