Lucid Motors is seeking a motivated and experience Global Supply Manager to join the European Service Parts organization (After-Sales). The Global Supply Manager manages company business with a group of suppliers and is a key internal interface with Service Program Operations. The Global Supply Manager must identify, develop, and manage the global supply chain, work with stakeholders and vendors to obtain the direct materials needed for our Service Centers’ operations. He or she will help establish our global supply chain strategy, manage end-to-end lifecycle, supplier management, and support cross-function teams in execution. A successful Global Supply Manager is highly analytical, detail-oriented, negotiator skilled, and can build strong relationships to set the foundational processes to ensure the highest customer experience.

The Role:
Responsible for procurement (third party suppliers) of direct materials and accessories to support global Service organizationIdentify key market trends for improvement in Supply chainKeep a healthy Supplier relationship management (Service & Production)Work with Quality to evaluate and maintain a supplier scorecard in a certain frequency (e.g. semester, yearly basis)Gather information regarding data attributes and share with internal teams as needed (e.g. Lead times, MOQ’s, TCO, etc.)Work with SQE and suppliers to order parts that have successfully gone through PPAP; Be involved in APQP, Run@rates, etc.Responsible to calculate, negotiate and get the best TCO for every part purchased to a third party supplierElaborate purchase orders, contracts, releases on time through the current electronic system to suppliers to cover supply for active parts; work closely with Planning team to know which parts will need to be procured in the S/M/L term and cover the lifecycle of the partsProactively find, evaluate and develop new market options as dual/alternate sourcesResponsible to meet (and exceed) cost savings and cost avoidance targets for the Service organizationResponsible for working capital enhancement through payment term negotiation with suppliersCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including but not limited to Planning, Production GSM, Engineering, NPI, Quality, Packaging, Finance, etc.Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience3+ years of experience in Procurement / Purchasing in an automotive or manufacturing environment, for Direct Materials (preferred)Commodity management experienceYou have innovative ideas you will bring to the table to help optimize cost and scheduleExcellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Passionate for results, strategy, and hands-on execution. Creative, calculated risk-taker with the ability to manage supply issues and resolve supplier disputes while preserving relationships with suppliers and internal partners.Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilitiesProficient in Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Word, ERP systems (SAP)Ability to mitigate unforeseen problems creatively and effectively.
