The Autonomy Evaluation Platform team owns the core validation platform that supports developers across Planning, PCP, and Prediction. The platform is central to autonomy development, enabling teams to efficiently test, validate, and ship code at scale.
The team is responsible for maintaining and scaling the platform, while also building new features and expanding cross-pillar adoption through Python tooling, APIs, and data engineering. Their work spans backend API development, Pandas-based data pipelines, and integration with V&V workflows, ultimately providing the infrastructure that powers autonomy development at scale.

In this role, you will:
You will lead the Validation Platform, leveraging technical skills to maintain a reliable core platform while scaling it to support autonomy development.You will set the short- and long-term technical direction for the platform, including the development of feature-rich APIs and backend services that enable autonomous development at scale.You will collaborate with engineers on the design and implementation of the platform, data engineering workflows, and API integrations that connect pipelines and strengthen the V&V ecosystem.You will partner cross-functionally with Planner, Prediction, and Validation and Verification teams to expand platform capabilities.Qualifications
MS or higher degree in Computer Science, or a related field, with 7+ years of hands-on experience Expert-level proficiency in Python and C++ Strong background in distributed systems, high-performance computing, and software architecture designExperience with data streaming/processing, storage systems, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworksExtensive experience designing scalable, real-time validation systemsBonus Qualifications
Familiarity with Simulation FrameworksKnowledge of autonomous vehicle software stacks
