You will plan, schedule, and coordinate the flow of parts and assemblies through the inventory and manufacturing processes at CFS. You will directly support the Production and Supply Chain teams to dynamically resolve root cause material flow issues within the operation. You will validate material readiness and provide direction to work centers in regards to when work orders need to complete to meet the overall production schedule. You will belong to a collaborative culture and exhibit transparent communication and teamwork.

This team member will:
Interface between Planning, Production leadership, and Materials Management to align schedules and resources for work order executionIdentify and resolve root cause problems preventing physical material flow and system transactions, mitigated wasteful downtimeMaintain a continual presence on the Production floor and proactively resolve constraintsRelease work orders based on ERP signals and initiate kitting of materials with the warehouse teamCoordinate logistics of material through the factorySchedule work order and material flow through shop resourcesMonitor material readiness and work with procurement, planning, and materials management to mitigate downtime due to material shortagesManage work center prioritization, expedite critical path itemsUtilize shop floor applications to manage resource workloadsMaintain work order status reports and balance resources to facilitate high utilization of work centersPerform other duties as requireThe ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:
High School or equivalentBachelor’s Degree is a plus7+ Yrs in a Manufacturing Shopfloor or 5+ Yrs in a Production Planning environmentExperience utilizing shopfloor applications and/or manufacturing execution systemsStrong understanding of production processesGeneral understanding of shop floor applicationsBasic understanding of ERP and MRP systemsBasic computer skills with MS office or G-Suite applicationsGeneral understanding of quality system functionalityHave good communication skills and the ability to interact and work effectively with manufacturing and supply chain personnelAdditional experience and/or qualifications:
Start-up or high growth environmentExperience with resource allocationTechnician experience is a plusAbility to occasionally lift up to 50 lbsWork in a facility that contains industrial hazards including heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, high current, pressure systems, and cryogenicsPerform activities such as typing, standing, or sitting for extended periods of timeWillingness to travel or work required nights/weekends/on-call occasionally#LI-Onsite
