What You Will Be Doing:
We are hiring Senior Manager of Capacitor Manufacturing to grow our capacitor manufacturing capabilities. You will build new teams, mentor experienced leaders, and create strategic plans in a technical, hands-on role. You will accelerate our transition from rapid prototyping to generator mass manufacturing, delivering on our mission of providing clean electricity for the planet. You will report to VP of Engineering at our Everett, WA office.
You Will:
Work with Helion’s executive team to establish goals for capacitor manufacturing that align with our strategy, and take full ownership of successful execution of those goals
Mentor supervisors on headcount planning, technician hiring and training, operating a rate-based production line, performance management, and metrics (e.g., utilization and efficiency)
Build a team of manufacturing engineers responsible for redesigning and improving capacitor manufacturing processes to lower cost and labor, and increase production scalability
Assess, staff, and oversee development projects focused on increasing capacitor manufacturing vertical integration and testing new capacitor architectures and implementations
Refine and implement our capacitor manufacturing scaling plan, including capital requirements, manufacturing facility siting, long lead equipment orders, and bring-up scheduling
Required Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
8+ years of technical work experience and 5+ years of experience managing technical organizations
Hands-on engineering or production experience in rapid hardware prototyping and iteration
Hands-on engineering or production experience in rate-based and high-volume manufacturing
Experience leading technical employees with different experiences and backgrounds
Expertise in cradle-to-grave ownership of complex engineering or production scopes
The pay range for this position is $166k-200k. This pay range may be inclusive of several career levels and will be narrowed based on several factors, including the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
