We are seeking a Sr Manager, Finance to assume responsibilities for accounting, budget planning, forecast, and business analytics. This position requires hands-on problem solving and a positive attitude and offers upside growth potential as the business grows and the size of the team expands. You are an ideal candidate if you have previous experience working in financial reporting and accounting in multi-currency US GAAP environment, English language proficiency, and have shown progressive growth in responsibilities.

Job Responsibilities

Assist VP Finance in monthly GL close and consolidation of the Australian subsidiary.

Prepare monthly financial statements.

Responsible for journal entries and GL maintenance for the Australian subsidiary.

Prepare account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

Manage accounts payable and payment calendar.

Coordinate with Procurement team on purchase order review and status.

Coordinate with People (HR) team on payroll.

Prepare weekly pacing report including cash and AP status.

Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors and ensure compliance with Australian statutory reporting, GST, and income tax regulations.

Maintain SOX404 compliance for Australian entity and implement company policies and internal controls.

Participate in budget planning.

Assist VP Finance with monthly rolling forecast and management reports.

Assist VP Finance and CFO with financial modeling for business development and other ad hoc analysis as needed.

Assist business leaders in Australian entity to prepare proforma and financial analysis on new business initiatives and projects.

Work in cross functional capacity to provide accounting and finance support for Engineering, Product Development, Marketing, Project Management, and Sales departments.

What a qualified candidate should possess

Bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting or finance; MBA a plus.

7+ years in related work experience in financial reporting or accounting with progressive growth in responsibilities.

English fluency as the working language.

Excel proficiency, stellar analytical and technical accounting skills, and ability to work independently to solve problems and manage multiple projects.

Experience working with US GAAP and multi-currency accounting.

Public accounting/audit experience and CPA preferred.

Experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus.

A passion for carbon neutrality by 2050 preferred
