About the company:

WE BELIEVE THERE’S A BETTER WAY TO FEED OUR FUTURE.

By shifting from animal to plant-based meat, we can positively affect the planet, the environment, the climate and even ourselves. After all, the positive choices we make every day – no matter how small – can have a great impact on our world.

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

At Beyond Meat, we started with simple questions. Why do you need an animal to create meat? Why can’t you build meat directly from plants? Thus, we make plant-based meats that allow families to eat more, not less, of the traditional dishes they love while feeling great about the health, sustainability, and animal welfare benefits of plant protein. Our goal is to bring exciting change to the plate—and Beyond.

At Beyond Meat, we are focused on raising the bar on talent. We are dedicated to shaping an inclusive culture that drives excellence, innovation, and results by enabling talent acceleration and development, engagement, and the employee experience.

The Senior Manager, Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) provides strategic leadership across a portfolio of ESG areas including climate, waste, packaging sustainability, social programs, and corporate governance. This individual will work with the Executive Leadership team to develop and affect an ESG strategy, objectives, and action plan.  This role will also develop and affect governance of sustainability policies, standardized procedures and performance, and lead a cross-departmental Sustainability Steering Committee.
