Why We’re Here
Our mission is to create a more sustainable future by transforming the way we power our world. We believe in solving problems, building lasting partnerships with our customers, and the importance of the entire power ecosystem in forging a path to making a sustainable future certain.
Energy storage and digitalization is critical to this transformation, yet today the market is fragmented, and customers face the challenge of finding a trusted technology partner amidst conflicting technical claims, inexperienced vendors and installers, and new market entrants with limited power sector knowledge.
Fluence brings proven energy storage products and services, and digital applications for renewables and storage to support the modernization of our energy networks. We are the partner that can deliver at a global scale with the most experienced and knowledgeable team in the world.

Our Origin Story
Fluence is the result of two industry powerhouses and pioneers in energy storage joining together to form a new company dedicated to innovating modern electric infrastructure. In January 2018, Siemens and AES launched Fluence, uniting the scale, experience, breadth, and financial backing of the two most experienced icons in energy storage.
The Fluence team encompasses more than 16 years of experience deploying and operating energy storage. Fluence is driving change by opening new markets to storage around the world, and has the largest deployed fleet of energy storage projects of any company.

Experience Matters
In today’s fragmented energy storage market, choosing the right partner is critical to your success. Relying on inexperienced packagers, developers, or integrators can lead to project delays, budget overruns, performance issues, accelerated battery degradation, equipment damage or failure, and even unsupported warranties and bankruptcies. The Fluence team brings over 16 years of experience designing, deploying, and operating complete energy storage solutions. Our energy storage systems are built for the most demanding gird scale and industrial applications and have stood the test of time. Since listing as a public company on the NASDAQ in 2021 Fluence has retained the backing and shareholder support of founding companies industry giants Siemens, AES and the Quatar Investment Authority (QIA) to deliver the scale and staying power our customers can rely on. The Fluence team brings a deep understanding of the complexities of modern power markets, customer needs, and local market challenges. We are here to collaborate with customers and stakeholders to solve energy challenges and help them navigate the rapidly changing landscape.
Operating from a foundation of integrity, quality, personal ownership, and responsibility, we are focused on our customers’ success and accelerating the advancement of the energy sector. Find certainty in your journey. Partner with Fluence.

Breadth and Depth
The entire spectrum of the power industry is in our DNA. Fluence has the power, breadth and footprint to deliver creative, commercial energy storage and digital offerings at scale that enable sustainable energy networks. We offer proven energy storage products designed for the full spectrum of applications in the market, with delivery and integration. Our comprehensive service offerings address the complete customer journey, including advisory, financing support, and project lifecycle services. Our digital platform maximizes the value of renewables and storage assets for our customers.

We see our mission of transforming the way you power your world as fundamental.  It’s why we exist, who we are and how we deliver results for our teams, our customers, our company, and ultimately for the world.
