About the company:
Your key focus will be:
° Raise quotation requests for freight, packaging and customs services, managing the assessment and selection process to deliver the most optimal services for the business
° Manage the creation and/or processing of all shipment documentation in accordance with business procedures and regulatory requirements to ensure the timely execution of shipments
° Monitor and track shipment progress throughout the ‘Purchase to Delivery’ cycle ensuring traceability and visibility across the relevant business functions
° Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation archiving for logistics operations in accordance with HSEQ and ISO certification standards, and regulatory requirements
° Support generic and project specific procedure development to standardise logistics operating procedures in line with business/client requirements and industy best practices

To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience:
° Experience in a similar role within an engineering/project industry or freight forwarding environment within Europe and Middle East
° Track record of coordinating multi-modal logistics operations with internal business units and external suppliers and freight forwarders
° Solid understanding of international trade requirements and customs regulations regarding the movement of goods
° Demonstrable competence in shipping and logistics documentation and terminology
° Experience with shipping Dangerous Goods a distinct advantage
° Ability to multi-task, priortise workload and manage competing business requirements
° Strong focus on document accuracy and attention to detail
° Self-organised and proactive team player
