As a Senior I&C Engineer, you will:
•Develop product-specific controls configuration file and deploy controls to project control systems.
•Be part of Battery energy storage new enclosure system product design team.
•Work with cross functional teams and represent enclosures team in all matters related to product controls development
•Support product development and testing.
•Complete Linux OS configuration on all project controllers.
•Complete initialization and configuration of project DAS (SCADA) systems.
•Work with other team members to drive team achievement of KPI-centered goals and objectives.
•Develop new tools, implement processes, provide feedback, and work with other stakeholders to ensure continuous improvement of project execution.
•Complete requisite training and professional development activities to stay abreast of industry state-of-the-art tools and best practices.

What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, Electronics and Communication Engineering with 5+ years of work experience.Strong fundamental in the following area Electronic & communication engineer, Network communication, Energy Management Systems, PLC Based programming, SCADA, Complex Network Analytics, data processing and data analysis.3+ years of Linux operating system experience for system administration, preferably using Ubuntu, Red Hat/Fedora or Debian.2+ years’ experience in embedded system programming for microcontrollers, PLC, RTAC and their peripherals.2+ years’ experience in MODBUS RTU & TCP/IP communication.Experience in debugging and testing using protocol analyzers and oscilloscopes is preferred.Experience with embedded communication protocols desired (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, RS485/232, USB)Experience in high-level languages, Python, Java, Ruby, C#, C++ is preferred.Strong bash scripting skills required (Python/Ruby is a plus).Fundamental understanding of Networking design.Strong knowledge of Git and revision management.Experience managing container-based environments is preferred.Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum).Experience capturing day to day activities in JIRA.Competence in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Strong communication skillsStrong presentation and interpersonal skills.Strong mentoring and Coaching skill setsComfortable of working in a highly dynamic and changing environment and adapt to shifting customer priorities.
