The Senior field service Engineer, Body Complete is responsible for providing best in class service engineering function from identifying emerging technical issues to expediting service solutions. This position requires an experienced service professional with a solid background in mechanical repairs, including and not limited to Body Interior & Exterior, Body Panel & Paint, Steering, Brake, Tire, and Suspension systems.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with key stakeholders to improve product and diagnostic quality, reduce warranty cost, and increase customer satisfaction. Additional duties include repair procedure and special tool definition and collision repair network certification definition. He or she must exhibit a can-do attitude to promptly identify and effectively solve complex technical issues in the field.

Be the Technical Subject Matter Expert in the assigned vehicle systemsAccountable for providing expert service engineering support to global service operations Collaborate with Aftersales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Supplier teams to monitor, investigate and solve emerging technical issues Champion and drive field technical issues identification, analysis, report, escalation, and countermeasure developmentOwn the implementation of expedited, qualitative, and cost-effective service solutions Publish concise Technical Service Bulletins and continuously improve other Service Information such as Repair Instructions, Wiring Diagrams, Trouble Shooting Guides, etc. to support the Fixed Right the First Time service strategyAssist in the development of Technical Training materials and required special service toolsRepresent Technical Service in Legal and Regulatory Compliance mattersRequirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial)Five or more years in a technical service role with hands-on mechanical repairs experience Three or more years of Body Panel and Paint Shop experienceThree or more years of technical writing experience with superb proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications Outstanding technical problem-solving abilities based on the mastery of engineering principles Additional Requirements:
