What you’ll do:

  • Responsible to lead the development of hardware fault injection methods, at the circuit board component / module level, and document results for DC/DC & DC/AC power electronic converters
  • Develop and maintain documentation on our fault injection processes
  • Develop and maintain test benches and tools to support fault injection 
  • Provide cost & duration estimates for performing fault injection efforts
  • Prepare fault injection, budget, implementation, and maintenance analysis
  • Summarize fault injection test results and communicate results to the key stakeholders
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team consisting of electrical, mechanical, and project management

What you need:

  • BS Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Materials Science Engineering with 10+ years or MS with 6+ years of experience in related fields
  • Knowledge of fault injection tools and techniques for power electronic modules / components
  • Experience developing and maintaining fault injection processes, benches, and tools
  • Ability to estimate fault injection development duration and prioritize the development of multiple faults in parallel
  • Ability to summarize fault injection test results into presentations to share and develop next steps with a cross-functional team of stakeholders
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Bonus Qualifications: 

  • Experience designing power electronics, powertrains, or battery management systems
  • Familiar with topologies utilized in DC/DC and DC/AC converters
  • Experience working in Aerospace, Military, or Automotive applications

We drive a pay-for-performance culture and reward performance that supports the Company’s business strategy. For this position we are targeting a base pay between $134,400 - $168,000. Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
