We are currently seeking a Senior Engineer, Automotive SW Test and Validation - Charging Systems who will Design, develop & maintain architecture of complex HIL system(s) which includes High Voltage DCDC converter, On Board Charger, High Voltage Junction Box etc. You will design and develop dynamic plant model for HIL Simulation setups for automated validation. The Role:

  • Design, develop & maintain architecture of complex HIL system(s) which includes High Voltage DCDC converter, On Board Charger, High Voltage Junction Box etc.
  • Design and develop dynamic plant model for HIL Simulation setups for automated validation.
  • Work with integration to design and build test benches to validate high voltage and low voltage systems.
  • Develop, plan and execute component and/ sub-system level testing of AC and DC charging tests, document and report test results.
  • Work with functional safety engineers to develop test cases and validation criteria to satisfy Functional Safety requirements as per ISO 26262.
  • Document and track issues as appropriate and participate in triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution

  • Conduct Technical interviews for the recruitment of HIL engineers and validation engineers. 
  • Requirements:

  • 5+ years of automotive testing experience with at least 2 years developing Hardware in Loop testing framework.
  • Strong knowledge of working with High Voltage systems,J1772, DIN70121, ISO15118 and GB/T 38775.
  • Experience working with Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow, Simulink-RealTime, dSPACE, TraceTronic ECU-Test, Vector or Intrepid tools.
  • Knowledge and experience with automotive communication protocols such as Automotive Ethernet, CAN, LIN, XCP, UDS & DoIP.
  • Strong knowledge of EV vehicle operation.
  • Knowledge of FMVSS and SAE standards and practices.
  • Bachelor of Science (Master of Science preferred), in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Computer Science, or other related fields.
  • Preferences:

  • Knowledge of UDS protocol, developing dynamic vehicle model or plant model is a plus.
  • ASTQB/ISTQB certification is a plus.
  • Master’s degree in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, Computer Science, or other related fields.
