We are seeking a SAP Financial Analyst with strong expertise in core financial accounting and U.S. indirect tax (Sales & Use Tax, Use Tax). The ideal candidate will bring over 7 years of experience in SAP FI, covering General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Accounting, Banking, and Financial Closing, while also having hands-on experience with Vertex or similar U.S. tax engines.

In This Role, You Will...
Lead design, configuration, and support of core SAP FI processes: General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Banking / Treasury integration, Financial Closing & Reporting Configure and manage U.S. Sales & Use Tax, Use Tax, and Withholding Tax in SAPIntegrate SAP FI with external tax engines (Vertex, Avalara, ONESOURCE, or similar) for tax determination and complianceCollaborate with Finance, Tax, Procurement (MM), and Sales (SD) teams to ensure end-to-end process accuracyEnsure multi-state tax compliance and reporting for U.S. operationsSupport audits, reconciliations, and statutory reporting requirementsDevelop functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/technical teams for custom reportingConduct testing (unit, integration, regression) and support user trainingProvide post-implementation support and act as SME for FI and U.S. taxQualifications
7+ years of SAP FI experience with deep knowledge of GL, AP, AR, AA, Banking, and ClosingStrong expertise in the U.S. Sales & Use Tax, Use Tax configuration, and reportingHands-on experience with Vertex or similar tax engines (Avalara, ONESOURCE)Strong integration knowledge with MM, SD, and COExperience in at least 3 end-to-end SAP implementations including tax scopeFamiliarity with S/4HANA Finance (preferred)Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related fieldExcellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skillsBonus Qualifications
