We are looking for a Salesforce Solutions Architect to join the Sales, Service, and Commerce Systems team and collaborate with our Sales, Marketing, Service, Finance and Data Engineering leaders to translate business needs into efficient solutions within the system. You will help lead the growth of Lucid’s Salesforce environment. You will be responsible for providing end to end solutions using Salesforce and Salesforce products and mentoring the Salesforce development engineers. You will guide the team to implement robust and scalable solution models by implementing cost effective and efficient tools and techniques.
 
The ideal candidate has a background in sales, marketing and customer service systems, has proven success in a Salesforce SME, and has the desire to be a thought-leader on a quickly growing team.
 
 

Salary Range: The compensation range for this position is specific to the locations listed below and is the range Lucid reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position taking into account the wide variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including job-related knowledge; skillset; experience, education and training; certifications; and other relevant business and organizational factors.
·       California (Bay Area) - $138,000 - $198,500

Additional Compensation and Benefits: Lucid offers a wide range of competitive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, and 401k. The successful candidate may also be eligible to participate in Lucid’s equity program and/or a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing such programs.  (Cash or equity incentive awards, if any, will depend on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and company performance.)

Responsibilities:

  •        Lead Salesforce architecture and guide the technical team; design & develop secure, scalable applications
  •        Crete an architecture blueprint & establish best practices that helps guide rest of the technical team on how best to leverage the platform
  •       Design and instruct the solution framework to the Salesforce development team.
  •       Create POCs to help business stakeholders to understand the proposed solution and drive the solution meetings with product managers, development teams, and stakeholders.
  •        Responsible for assisting in the establishment of an IT Architecture practice, and the adoption of an architecture and standard methodology.
  •        Review business context for solutions to company challenges as well as defining the vision and requirements for the solution, recommending potential options, (which may include RFIs, RFPs or prototype development), selecting the most optimal option, and the development of a roadmap for the selected solution.
  •       Champions a structured approach to business application solutions.
  •       Direct the identification and recommendation of appropriate solutions, upgrades, replacements, or decommissioning options incorporating business and technology productivity, usability, and total cost of ownership.
  •       Ensure that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the business, ensuring that proper testing is implemented, and performance and security requirements are closely monitored by working with development teams
  •        Understand the user stories and provide accurate workload estimates.
  •       Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps.
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  •    Bachelor's degree required - Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or equivalent 
  • 8+ years of experience as a Salesforce Developer.
  •    8+ years of experience in Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
  •     Minimum of 8 years of experience related to IT Management or other information technology solutions architecture role.
  •     Strong proficiency with Force.com Platform skills (Apex, Lightning (LWC, Aura), SOQL, Unit Testing, Visualforce)
  •      Experience with other technologies like Java, Node.js, React, etc.
  •      Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems (REST & SOAP API, JSON & XML, etc.)
  •       Knowledge of Salesforce platform best practices, coding, design guidelines and governor limits
  •      Familiarity working with CI/CD tools (Git)Data modeling and cloud architecture
  •       Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills and the ability to relentlessly prioritize
  •       Passion for a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • •Knowledge about all phases of the Agile software development life cycle and Salesforce solution delivery for web, client-server, and cloud-based systems
  • •Good knowledge of modern software engineering principles and best practices
  • •Knowledge in SQL, PL/SQL , Java, C++ will be considered an advantage.
  • •Salesforce certificates to demonstrate knowledge and competency
  • •Knowledge or certifications on Sales Cloud Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant, Platform developer 1, LWCs, Integrations, etc.
  • •Knowledge on XML, SOAP and REST APIs.
  • •Integration technologies and experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
  • •Performance and scalability architecture
