Your mission:
Your Missionmeteocontrol develops software for the professional operation, control and optimization of photovoltaic and energy assets. Our market is growing – and we want to capture more of it. To support our continued growth in Europe, we are looking for a sales professional who doesn't just manage New Business but makes it happen: identifying target customers, opening doors, convincing decision-makers and closing deals.
Your focus will be on selling our SaaS products. You will build a targeted network of new prospects in the European energy tech market, proactively reach out to potential customers and turn initial conversations into qualified opportunities. You think in terms of pipeline, conversion and closing – and stay on it until potential turns into revenue. A good understanding of the European energy market is important for this role. Experience in SaaS or software sales is an advantage, but not a requirement.
Your Tasks
- Acquire new B2B customers across Europe – proactively, strategically and with a clear focus on closing deals.
- Build your own pipeline, qualify opportunities consistently and maintain momentum throughout the sales process.
- Engage with decision-makers, communicate value clearly and confidently negotiate deals through to closing.
- Prioritize markets, accounts and activities based on their potential – with a clear focus on our SaaS products.
- Bring market and customer feedback directly to Product and Customer Success – helping turn demand into an even stronger offering.
Your profile:
- Several years of proven success in active B2B New Business Sales – including cold calling, prospecting and building your own pipeline.
- You have a solid understanding of the energy market and its dynamics, particularly the challenges and requirements of companies in renewable energy and energy assets.
- Experience in European sales, ideally across multiple markets.
- A quick grasp of technical products, complex requirements and new solutions.
- Clear communication, strong commitment and the drive to actively move deals across the finish line.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Experience with SaaS or subscription-based business models.
- Technical interest, for example in photovoltaics, energy management or IoT.
- German or additional European languages.
