Bear Flag is an early stage team at John Deere, acquired in August 2021, with a growing portfolio of projects in the autonomy space and is looking for a Robotics Intern to join our growing team.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting hourly pay for this role is between $40-$50. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus and benefits.

Must be a team player who is passionate about solving challenging problems and willing to help wherever needed to accomplish the overall mission B.S./M.S/PHd candidate in Robotics/Computer Science/Software Engineering/Mechanical Engineering or related fieldsStrong software development experience in Python and/or C++Experience with ROS systems and packagesExperience with robotic software system components such as: Designing and implementing robot state machines Implementing localization and state estimation methods like Kalman Filters and Particle Filters Mapping and localization Path planning and control methods (i.e.: PID, MPC, A* and Dijkstra) Sensor and point cloud processing (PCL)Benefits we Offer
