About the company:

Nobell Foods is creating cheese and other dairy products from plant-derived dairy proteins for the 99% of people who are unwilling to compromise on taste and price.

Worldwide dairy production accounts for 40% of global livestock emissions. In the US, the dairy industry is responsible for 2% of the nation’s greenhouse gas emissions. And a growing chunk of that dairy consumption is coming from cheese.

Nobell Foods is creating cheese and other dairy products from plant-derived dairy proteins for the 99% of people who are unwilling to compromise on taste and price. Nobell is made up of a team of passionate scientists, explorers, and storytellers on a mission to radically change the way we make food, so it’s better for you, the animals and the planet.  We are backed by Bill Gates’ climate fund Breakthrough Energy Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and Robert Downey Jr. If you believe in our mission and  are excited about our work, we would love to hear from you!

Our beliefs:
We believe that good food should also be good for the planet and all of its inhabitants. By harnessing the power of plants, we are creating delicious and affordable substitutes to animal products that use a fraction of the resources, allowing us to feed more people with less.

Your Role:
We are looking for a bench research scientist to join our process development team. You will play an essential role on our multidisciplinary R&D team by developing and scaling protein extraction and purification methods.
