Location: Houston or Phoenix (preferred)
Travel: 1 - 2 weeks at a time to work on customer sites, with flexibility to travel up to 50%, as needed.
Fluence is seeking a Regional Trainer to help build, maintain and execute a training program for employees and customers within the Americas Region. You will primarily be responsible for developing, providing and tracking training for the customer and services teams. The ideal applicant for this position will be eager and capable to learn about Fluence products and systems, enabling them to contribute effectively to content development and confidently answer questions during lessons. He/she will pair their Fluence expertise with their interpersonal skills to deliver training presentations that give customers and employees confidence in Fluence and our equipment

The Regional Trainer, Americas Services at Fluence will:
Responsible for the continuous development of a services training program to include an onboarding plan for new employees, coaching, milestones, tracking and methods to ensure learning will be sustainable.
Collaborate with global services training department on development of Fluence Technician Maintenance Certification curriculum and content. Ensure completion of Certification for internal and external audiences as required. Facilitate onsite training as needed to support Service and customer personnel.
Facilitate virtual and onsite customer trainings (Orientation, Operations, Maintenance, and First Responder) for new projects within the Americas Regions.
Administrator role with Fluence Absorb/LMS developing online curricula, uploading new content, updating existing content, adding users, managing enrollment, and reporting.
Coordinate service training initiatives with EMEA, APAC and Global Services for alignment. Solicit best practices for continuous revision of training material.
Develop subcontractor curriculum/criteria and deliver training for service providers to ensure consistency with Fluence safety, quality and accuracy.
Develop training content for the Field Service Team in the Americas Regions on a variety of topics related to work processes, technical procedures, trouble-shooting guides, safety programs, initiatives, and awareness for regional teams. Partner with subject matter experts as needed to ensure quality and accuracy of content.
Lead continuous improvement efforts in training by accelerating new content delivery. Align training certifications with eligible skills in the Service Platform.
Provide monthly status updates on the overarching health of the training program to the Directors and VP of Service for Americas Regions. What will you bring to Fluence?
A bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and/or 5 years of experience in a technical role around or within an industrial environment. Preferred experience in the energy sector, with direct familiarity or background in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).Strong interpersonal skills with an aptitude for engaging diverse audiences and communicating complex technical information in a clear, accessible manner.Strong public presentation skills utilized in a professional setting. Ability to travel as needed for 1 - 2 weeks at a time to work on customer sites, with flexibility to travel up to 50%.Ability to work effectively in climate extremes (e.g. the desert or the snow). Comfortable completing work from the office or in the field. Proven record of working autonomously towards your goals. Highly tuned drive to win and deliver excellence under tight timelines. Desire to work collaboratively in an entrepreneurial environment. Track record of taking ownership over responsibilities and pursuing them diligently.
