We are searching for a Quality Operations Engineer tol help us powerfully drive our quality mission in our young and growing company! You will bring your hands-on experience in solving tough engineering problems, your fascination with complex engineered systems, and your passion for the best practices to design, monitor, and improve product and process. You should have a broad base of experience and a high level of technical depth applicable to electrolysis, and is equally at home in the test lab and manufacturing floor, providing technical leadership to our team as we develop robust quality practices of our organization.

You will be based at our location in Devens, MA. This is a 100% in-person, onsite position. You will report to the Vice President of Manufacturing Engineering.

Role and Responsibilities

  • Ensure process/product compliance through the design and development of comprehensive procedures including work instructions, flowcharts, forms, templates, checklists, and other product or process related documentation, for recording, evaluating, and reporting quality data
  • Plan and direct creation of quality standards, quality control, and quality assurance procedures, sampling plans, test methods, fixtures, and processes for finished devices.
  • Develop and apply corporate level quality metrics for our product and processes.
  • Lead and project manage quality initiatives across Electric Hydrogen.
  • Help drive production facility validation planning, execution, and documentation
  • Take quality leadership for defining MVP for manufacturing building, product, and process
  • Develop and implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material
  • Provide support to commercial product manufacturing processes, including failure analysis, documentation review and approval, tooling qualification, and defect containments
  • Review and interpret complex data analysis rooted in the physics of failure

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • 8+ years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization and/or guidance exists.
  • Proven understanding of problem solving tools including root cause analysis and statistical process control principles
  • Experienced in using lean problem-solving tools (Kaizen, Six Sigma, PPI etc.).
  • Experienced in developing and implementing Management Systems based on ISO9001 and ISO14001

$121,000$133,000 USD

Actual base salary offered to the hired applicant will be determined based on their work location, level, qualifications, job-related skills, as well as relevant education or training and experience.​
