ICON is seeking a Regional Leader to lead and streamline the day-to-day management of our regional field operations team. As the leader of ICON’s Field Operations in the Florida market, you will be leading and supervising the Field Operations team, ensuring they perform at high standards and meet objectives. This role will report to the Senior Director, Field Operations and is based in the Miami-Dade region.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
TEAM MANAGEMENT + DEVELOPMENT
- Recruit, hire, and manage field operations employees to ensure the team is properly sized and skilled for current and upcoming projects.
- Provide coaching, training, and mentorship to ensure high team performance.
- Ensure the field team complies with all safety and operational standards through close collaboration with the Field Ops Manager.
- Manage performance documentation and promotions as needed.
- Facilitate training and certification for their field team.
DATA + PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT
- Track and analyze performance metrics to ensure field teams meet targets for productivity, safety, and operational quality.
- Manage project-specific expenses, including consumables and personnel equipment, ensuring proper expense reconciliation.
- Ensure weekly timesheets are processed for the entire field team and manage expense reporting through tools such as Coupa.
- Stay 100% real-time compliant regarding team admin and paperwork needs.
- Ensure 100% SOP compliance for the print team.
- Execute real time and proactive reporting/progress updates/milestones daily through prints, mobilizations, and build activities.
PRINT EXECUTION + LEADERSHIP
- Deliver each print to meet the required schedule and budget.
- Maintain daily knowledge of print mission success criteria to satisfy schedule and budget.
- Coordinate the delivery and inventorying of building materials across multiple shifts to ensure the team is prepared for success.
- Maintain professional communication among the team, up to FIeld Operations Management, and ICON org.
- Uphold steady machine operation and collaboration with the ICON org as necessary to overcome issues.
- Execute and coordinate build activities including foundation prep, top plate installation, shoring, and bond beams.
- Collaborate with other field operations teammates.
- Perform site support equipment management as necessary in collaboration with the Field Logistics Manager.
SERVICE + REPAIRS
- Perform necessary repairs as printer issues arise, coordinating parts, performing replacements, and conducting calibrations
- Connect and disconnect electrical, pneumatic, and network cabling to facilitate printer mobility.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software systems virtually or in person using schematics or other documentation.
- Manage the delivery and inventory of replacement parts.
- Update and maintain accurate work steps via our ticketing system.
- Provide an exceptional working relationship with Field Ops technicians to maintain schedules and determine root cause of problems.
FIELD LOGISTICS
- Manage material logistics and consumable inventories to support field operations.
- Ensure planning of all rental equipment, materials, and printer support equipment is delivered on time.
- Support operational efforts to optimize resource utilization and minimize project downtime.
- Support planning of printer preventative maintenance and delivery of parts, ensuring maximum printer utilization and minimizing printer downtime.
- Lead Go / No-Go meetings and providing adequate date for decision making that optimizes overall fleet productivity
DAILY OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS MANAGEMENT
- Perform and manage the completion of printer downtime attribution.
- Perform and manage the documentation of build activity steps in procore through the print of the entire structure.
- Uphold and enforce high standards of visual bead quality.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, leveraging 5S building methodologies and principles
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in construction, manufacturing, or a fast-paced industry involving team leadership and dynamic operations.
- Strong people management and leadership skills, including recruitment, coaching, and team development.
- Ability to track performance metrics and manage team performance.
- Experience in managing teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Flexibility to work extended hours to meet business demands.
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Familiarity with concrete construction materials or experience in a factory production setting.
- Experience with industrial safety systems.
