Your role and your team:
Reporting to the Head of Quality Process Management at our Headquarter in Munich.
You will implement the Production Management System (PMS) of Lilium’s Production Organisation, manage the internal processes, apply control plans, execute audits and operational surveillance programs, and interface with the Regulatory Agencies (EASA, LBA, FAA, etc.) to obtain and maintain the company approvals and certifications (EASA Part 21.G, FAA 14CFR Part 21.G, EN9100).
Your Day to Day:
- Ensure that the requirements from Part 21G are delivered in Lilium’s Production Management System for Production Organisation Approval by understanding all stakeholders needs according to practical advice
- Support and mentor other team members on topics concerning Quality and Aviation Regulations for Production
- Providing proactive suggestions from the Quality perspective on how to meet the Part21G requirements
- Establish Control Plan development for our workshops and assembly line for “In Quality, On Time and On Cost” production ramp-up
- Implementation and moderation of APQP (e.g., PFMEA, CP and SPC) within the Lilium production system
- Prepare, execute, and maintain the internal Audits and Operational Surveillance program and support external Audits in accordance with EASA Part 21.G and FAA 14CFR Part 21.G regulations, and EN9100 standard for Production Organisations
- Work in close cooperation with our POA project management and stakeholder to ensure POA process requirements implementation
- Define and control the Production Quality Metrics and conduct periodic quality reviews
- Support the development and implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS).
Your Profile:
- Engineering University Degree in Aerospace or related field with Aerospace experience.
- Min of 3 years of experience to be confident in the implementation and maintenance of a Quality System; preferred in an Aerospace Production Organisation.
- Experience in EASA Part 21.G and EN9100 or equivalent Quality requirements
- Robust knowledge on the processes and requirements to obtain a Production Organisation Approval.
- Proven track record in End-to-End process development and document re-versioning
- Must be proactive and a good communicator to foster collaboration across all levels of the organisation. Solving conflicts and target-oriented work style using analytic problem-solving skills to find creative and feasible solutions
- Agile and Lean mindset and high level of self-reliance to navigate through ambiguity
- Desired knowledge of APQP, PFMEA, CP and SPC
- Strong motivation to help build and shape the organisation, structures, and processes
- Fluent English language skills are essential, fluent German or any other language would be beneficial
