We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Control specialist to join our team in the UK or Rep. of Ireland. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality control processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards are maintained across our operations. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing quality control procedures, conducting inspections and audits, identifying areas for improvement, and providing guidance and training to team members. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proven track record of implementing effective quality control measures in a manufacturing or production environment. Excellent communication and leadership abilities are essential for this role, as the Quality Control specialist will collaborate closely with various departments to drive continuous improvement and uphold our commitment to delivering superior quality products and services. Your tasks and responsibilities:
 
Act as a Quality Project specialist, ensuring Quality Planning activities are properly performed on-time according development project timelines

Participate / lead onsite supplier and subcontractor audits – you will lead the audits for new or potential suppliers and subcontractor

Assist in building supplier and subcontractor quality programs and policies

Support on definition and implementation of supplier / subcontractor improvement programs for potential new suppliers / subcontractor;

Conduct thorough inspections and testing of products and materials at various stages of production to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.

Identify and report any non-conformities or deviations (NCR) from quality requirements, investigating root causes and recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures, work instructions, and documentation to support continuous improvement efforts.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues, provide technical support, and participate in problem-solving activities to drive resolution and improvement.

Your profile
 
A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field such as engineering, quality management, or a related discipline.

Previous experience in quality control or assurance roles within manufacturing, engineering, or a related industry (minimum 10 years). Experience with quality management systems (QMS) and quality control methodologies is highly desirable.

Strong knowledge of quality control techniques, tools, and methodologies, including statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and problem-solving techniques.

Familiarity with quality management standards such as ISO 9001 is advantageous.

Fluent in English language. German or other European languages are a plus.

Proficient in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Possess a valid residence in UK or Rep. of Ireland.

Possess a valid driving license.

Good verbal and written communication skills and work independently and carefully.

Availability to travel 70% of the time in UK, Rep. of Ireland and Nord Europe (Denmark, Sweden, Finland)
