Our device captures at least 80% of a semi-truck’s carbon emissions directly from the tailpipe. We sell the CO2 to end-users who can store it away for a long time. We split that revenue with our customers, so the device pays for itself in just a couple years.
Remora is seeking a Purchasing Analyst to join the Supply Chain team. This individual will help manage Remora's entire supply chain from initial design to installation on a customer's truck. By building relationships with manufacturers, managing inventory, and working to obtain crucial components on time, this person will help tackle the defining challenge of our time.
Responsibilities: Analyzing manufacturing and assembly needs with technical teams designing business process requirements and taking responsibility for the completeness and quality of the final product. Develops and schedules the movement of materials through the development and production cycles to determine the need for material purchases. Maintains inventory levels by using engineering and production schedules (i.e., using Just-in-Time purchases, Economic Order Quantities). Creates and maintains bills of material and parts/commodity numbers in a supply chain management system. Meets material standards and approves or minimizes deviations or non-conformances. Develops specifications for new contract orders. Gathers quotations, examines bids, and awards contracts. Oversees the cost, schedule, and scope of assigned subcontracts to ensure the best value at the best quality. Assesses vendor reliability and develop new sources of supply when vendors and suppliers are no longer competitive.
Requirements A Bachelor's degree or higher in Logistics or Supply Chain Management and 4+ years of relevant experience OR 6+ years of relevant experience
