Rivian Service Operations is seeking a Project Manager for Service Partnerships to help fulfill the goals of the broader team. The Service Partnership Team manages the relationship with vendors from selection, negotiation, implementation, and continuous improvement processes. Our vendors range from large to small partners across different sectors and we source physical goods in addition to services to help support our mobile service teams and field service team.

As the Project Manager of Service Partnerships, you will be executing day-to-day activities while identifying opportunities to improve our operations and implementing of such opportunities to the field with our partners. You will also support the invoice verification process from end-to-end to guarantee timely payments to vendors. This role will require exceptional cross functional interaction and sharp attention to detail.  Additionally, this Project Manager must be flexible, dependable, organized, proactive in initiating continuous improvement and have an ability to prioritize strategically. This role will require superb communication skills, focus on execution and seeing projects through to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cross functionally to systematically manage vendors and respective input required from internal stakeholders
  • Support cost monitoring versus forecast and respective actions needed to be implemented
  • Continuous improvement of POs monitoring and invoice verification process, including automation, documentation, and training to respective partners on spend per PO and open amounts on a regular basis
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (Field Service, Delivery and Mobile Operations and Guide Program Teams) to close open amounts on a regular basis whenever clarification is needed
  • Work with Accounts Payable, Procurement and Finance and other teams to ensure clear communication, updates of projects and strategic initiatives
  • Work closely with the Sr. Program Managers on the team to help with day-to-day activities to identify areas for improvement
  • Support improvement of program documentation, standards, and training
  • Support strategic initiatives and decision making within the Service Programs organization by identifying risks, and implementing mitigation plans

Requirements

  • 1+ years' experience in Project Management or Operations
  • 4-year college/university degree or similar/equivalent work experience in Operations or related field
  • Knowledge of SQL, SharePoint, and Excel a plus
  • Be focused on continuous improvement
  • Ability to track open items with different stakeholders in a timely matter without losing the big picture
  • Be a self-starter that takes evaluated risks and is comfortable defining the course to success with minimal oversite
  • Willingness to adapt to a dynamic and ambiguous business environment
  • Ability to drive cross-functional projects to completion
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to work with an adventurous spirit, challenge standards and in using analytics to solve problems
  • Excellent documentation and project tracking skills
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
