The role:

  • Responsible for developing a Vehicle Program Quality Plan to assist in achieving both internal and external quality targets such as warranty, Consumer Reports, and JD Power. 
  • Also responsible for monitoring progress to meet quality goals through common global process assessments and facilitating rapid containment of issues, installation of countermeasures, Leadership on problem solving and escalation if required to involve appropriate levels of management.
  • Assess execution to meeting quality business plans.  Escalate and support when executive leadership is required  
  • Develop and present requests for Field Performance Evaluation (FPE) Customer Satisfaction Actions 
  • Review, capture, and apply Best Practices and Lessons Learned
  • Coordinate management/executive reviews of the Quality process/system  
  • Support flawless launch initiatives and participate in cost saving initiatives affecting quality.
  • Track launch scorecard and associated KPIs and action plans.
  • Qualifications & Skills:

  • BSc in engineering, Preferred industrial/quality/production engineering
  • 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing organization.
  • Relevant experience in project management and program quality management
  • Demonstrated success in the quality field.
  • Experience with participating, implementing, or facilitating the ISO 9001:2015 and/or IATF 16949 standard is a plus.
  • Experience in greenfield and/or automotive launches is a plus.
  • MBA or MSc is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office tools (MS-Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio)
  • Creative, energetic, self-motivated and highly organized.
  • Ability to work and coordinate among multidisciplinary and multicultural teams.
  • Strong written and verbal skills as well as organizational and program management capabilities.
  • Excellent analytical & technical writing abilities and comprehensive understanding of Document Control, problem solving, procedures development, FMEA, control plans, Business plans, among other organizational processes.
