About This Role:
Join our dynamic team as a Strategic Sourcing Manager, where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless procurement of mission-critical hardware, cloud-related materials, and services. You'll be the linchpin between our Cloud Network Engineering and Corporate Departments, managing complex strategies and awards, tracking orders, and expediting major projects from requisition to delivery. Your expertise will directly impact the efficiency and success of our Cloud and AI infrastructure deployments, both domestically and internationally. We're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented professional who can analyze quotations, recommend supplier awards, and manage vendor relationships effectively. This is a full-time position based in San Francisco, requiring in-office presence.
What You’ll Be Working On:
Order Management & Tracking: Meticulously track mission-critical orders, ensuring adherence to delivery dates and promptly reporting any potential delays or issues.
Supplier Collaboration & Resolution: Manage supplier relationships, collaborating with internal stakeholders to resolve quality, service, and delivery challenges.
Purchase Order Processing: Efficiently process requisitions into purchase orders, maintaining accurate status updates within the sourcing management system.
Contract & Compliance Oversight: Ensure supplier and contract compliance with terms, conditions, and insurance requirements.
Supplier Sourcing & Qualification: Identify, qualify, and promote potential new sources of supply as needed.
Performance Coordination: Coordinate activities with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate supplier performance.
Catalog Management: Develop and manage supplier catalogs within Crusoe’s Coupa (ERP) system.
Inventory & Asset Support: Assist with inventory and asset management processes.
Team Support & Mentorship: Mentor, support, and provide backup for team members as necessary.
Additional Duties: Perform other assigned duties to support the strategic sourcing function.
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
Educational Foundation: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Acquisitions Management, or equivalent experience.
Procurement Expertise: Minimum 5+ years of experience in expediting, project procurement coordination, procurement specialization, or buying.
Data Center & Component Knowledge: Proven experience in Data Center, Server Component Purchasing, and Commodity Sourcing.
International Vendor Experience: Experience working with OEMs/Vendors in China.
Supply Chain Management: Demonstrated ability to manage SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning) and optimize complex supply chain environments.
Strategic Sourcing Understanding: Understanding of strategic sourcing in discrete part assembly environments.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and implement effective action plans.
Office Presence: Must be able to work in the office in San Fransisco, CA.
Bonus Points:
Industry certifications in procurement or supply chain management.
Experience with Cloud, IT, Software, Network Engineering, or Corporate SaaS/EULA environments.
Advanced knowledge of ERP systems, particularly Coupa.
Experience with international procurement and logistics.
Experience with inventory control and asset management.

Compensation:
Compensation will be paid in the range of $85,000 - $95,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
