Procurement Manager – Compliance and Sustainability

Your role and your team:

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Procurement Manager Compliance & Sustainability, working closely with senior leadership in Strategic Procurement, Supply Chain, Legal, Logistics, Audit, as well as major suppliers to ensure Compliance with applicable internal and external regulatory requirements.

Reporting to the Head of Procurement Operational Excellence, you will also act as Sustainability focal point for Strategic Procurement and the Supply Chain and will have the chance to actively shape and cascade Lilium´s Sustainability ambition into the Supply Chain.

Procurement at Lilium means to work within a team of highly skilled experts managing the creation and establishment of a professional aircraft and non-aircraft supply base with the highest quality product available in time – while meeting technical corporate standards based on a complete new worldwide market eco system.

Your Day to Day:

• Own Compliance related processes within Procurement and provide regular training sessions to the community.
• Manage Procurement processes and detect non-Compliance (e.g., Maverick Buying) using dedicated dashboards, workflows, and process mining methods.
• Develop and implement measures to ensure Procurement teams’ integrity, e.g., not being involved in any Conflict of Interest during their actions.
• Manage Compliance relevant changes in the P2P process, e.g., onboarding and ordering of physical items to meet applicable (Trade-) Compliance requirements.
• Be the Procurement expert and Legal delegate for all applicable laws & regulations in relation to Export Control, Sanctions, Code of Business Conduct, Supplier Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, Customs and Sustainability
• Proactively support in shaping Lilium´s Corporate Sustainability ambition and cascading within the Supply Chain, serve as Sustainability focal point for suppliers.
• Own SOX Compliance related internal controls within Procurement and participate in internal and external audits, as required.

Your Profile:

• Degree in business, law, or supply chain and several years of relevant work experience in a similar role
• Very good understanding and experience of Procurement requirements in the Manufacturing and Services industry
• Experience in Export Control, Sanctions, Code of Business Conduct, Supplier Code of Conduct, Anti-Bribery/Anti-Corruption, Customs and Sustainability.
• Good general IT affinity and basic experience in BI, process mining, ERP systems and Jira/Confluence.
• Knowledge of Agile Project Management techniques: Willing to deliver & focus on priorities.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills, i.e., positive and open-minded, flexible and highly adaptable to dynamic environment with self-starter mentality.
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, German is a plus.
