Role Description
We are looking for a Process Development Technician to help us develop our core technology by contributing to our electrode process development organization. You will work directly with our engineering team to spend time on our pilot production equipment. You will be responsible for completing experimental trials to improve our electrode process and help our team prepare for full scale production. What You'll Do:
Fabricate prototype electrodes, assist in developing the fabrication processWork with the engineering team to develop quality control processes and specificationsExecute chemical and material processes according to established SOP’s and collaborate with the technical team to create new and update existing Process SOP’sMake observations on process anomalies and communicate findings to our electrode team for collaborative analysisSupport development scientists and engineers by stocking, cleaning and maintaining key consumables and equipmentMaintain a safe working environment and follow lab safety protocols to work safely with hazardous materialsWhat You'll Bring:
3+ years of experience relating to working with chemicals in laboratory or production environmentFamiliarity operating small to medium sized manufacturing and analytical equipment, such as ovens and furnaces, coating mixing/blending equipment etc.Familiar with chemical hygiene, safety best practicesExperience with chemical or materials processing techniques, such as solution preparation or dry powder weighing and mixingExcellent verbal and written communication, and detailed documentation abilityFamiliarity with lean concepts to maintain inventory and organize workflows
