Your key focus will be:
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in proposals and studies, working closely with the Sales / Growth team.
- Interface with clients to understand their drivers and develop cost effective solutions based on CCSL product porfolio.
- Responsible for the development of technical deliverables for proposals and studies: PFDs, HMBs, Process Descriptions, Plant performance summary including utility consumption, Plot Plan, and basic equipment designs for carbon capture plants.
- Interface with various engineering disciplines, project management, R&D, Sales, and external partners as required.
- Contribute to the review and optimization of project design, cost, safety, constructability, and schedule.
- Actively contribute to innovation and process improvement
- It is estimated that you will be required to travel for client meetings approximately 20% of your time
Requirements
Is this the job for me?
To be successful in this role you should have a combination of the below knowledge, skills, and experience:
- B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering with minimum 15 years of experience in process engineering. Experience working within an engineering organisation, such as EPC or process licensing is preferred.
- Knowledge of gas separation technologies used in gas processing, gasification, carbon capture, or industrial gas processes
- Must be hands-on with conducting calculations independently: process simulation, equipment sizing and other process calculations.
- Strong verbal, interpersonal, organizational and presentation skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a small, developing, and entrepreneurial organisation; high level of flexibility and adaptability required.
- Strong relationship building skills, especially building relationships across a dispersed team.
- Hands-on experience with the start-up and troubleshooting of industrial plants is desirable.
- Basic commercial awareness and understanding of project costs is desirable.
