Planning & Logistics Specialist

Leveraging the infrastructure of the mushroom industry, we have developed efficient and high-quality processes to bring mycelium products to market over the past 16 years. Our Venlo location specializes in providing high-quality spawn and substrate to mushroom growers and customers cultivating mycelium materials.

Your Challenge

As a Planning & Logistics Specialist no day is the same. Your goal? To carefully plan and prepare tasks, manage important documentation and article data, and seamlessly coordinate logistical activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Production Planning

• Responsible for creating detailed production schedules based on available capacity, inventory levels, and customer demand, aiming to ensure timely production.
• Additionally, you will issue the required production orders and ensure all necessary documentation to guarantee a smooth production process.

Logistical Planning

• As the coordinator of all logistical planning activities, you will ensure the flawless alignment of incoming and outgoing goods flows. You will ensure the accuracy of all required documentation.

Article Management

• As the administrator of the article database, you are responsible for keeping all information up-to-date, including bill of materials, recipes, and packaging information.
• You will also manage inventory levels to meet production needs without excess stock.

Business Office Procedures

• You will develop procedures and work instructions to ensure consistency and efficiency at the operational level.

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Solid background in production and logistical planning. 

• Strong attention to detail and a passion for optimizing processes. 

• Comfortable in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. 

• Fluent in both Dutch and English.

• Ability to work standard business hours.

Education and/or Experience: 

• High school diploma required.  Education beyond high school is preferred. 

• A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.

Location for this role is in Venlo, Limburg, Netherlands.

Salary is based on experience but does range from  €2600 to €3500 gross per month.
