What You'll Be Doing:

-Studying the effects of fusion environments on materials using a mix of simulation and experiment.
-Continuous learning on the job (e.g., attending and presenting at technical conferences).

About You:

-Bachelor in nuclear science or engineering with a focus or interest in materials science.
-Demonstrated (through internships, graduate school, publications, or patents) the use of simulation and experiments to understand or solve complex problems in one or both of the following:
-- materials degradation in extreme environments (e.g., high neutron flux)
-- hydrogen isotope diffusion in materials
